Tips for choosing a size
Consider the wall size
The poster should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the wall width. If the poster is too small, the wall looks empty; if it is too large, it looks cluttered.
Consider furniture
Above sofas and dressers, the poster should be about 2/3 the width of the furniture and maintain a distance of 15-20 cm.
Take room height into account
In rooms with high ceilings (over 2.70 m), larger formats can be chosen. The center of the poster should hang at eye level (145-150 cm).
Plan gallery walls
With multiple pictures: use larger formats as anchor points and smaller ones to complement them. Maintain uniform distances of 5-10 cm.
Frequently asked questions about poster sizes
Which size is the most popular?
50x70 cm is a great all-rounder: large enough to make an impact, small enough for almost any wall.
Can I combine different sizes?
Absolutely! Different sizes create dynamism. Pay attention to harmonious proportions and uniform distances between the pictures.
How do I measure my wall correctly?
Measure the available wall space and plan about 2/3 of it for the poster. Also consider furniture and other wall elements.
What is the difference between A2 and 50x70 cm?
A2 (42x59.4 cm) is slightly smaller and narrower than 50x70 cm. 50x70 cm offers more picture area and is relatively more square.
Which size for small rooms?
30x40 cm or A2 are perfect for small rooms. Several smaller posters can be arranged as a gallery wall.
Do I need a frame for large posters?
For formats from 70x100 cm and up, we recommend a frame for better stability and a more professional look. Smaller formats work without a frame as well.
How high should I hang my poster?
The center of the poster should hang at eye level, which is about 145-150 cm from the floor. If there is furniture underneath: maintain a distance of 15-20 cm.
Are there discounts for multiple orders?
Yes! From 3 posters, a volume discount is automatically applied. Perfect for your gallery wall or multiple rooms.
